Growth Diversified Strategy (GDS): June 2026 Investor Update
Portfolio Manager’s Note
The GDS Portfolio continued to make steady progress in June despite a demanding global environment shaped by political uncertainty, market volatility, and conflict in the Middle East. Our priorities remained clear: preserve capital, control risk, and maintain effective diversification.
The Portfolio returned +0.40% during the month with notably low volatility. This stability, during a period of sharp market movements and changing narratives, demonstrates the resilience of our investment framework.
Year to date, the Portfolio has returned +3.32%, representing consistent progress through a volatile first half of 2026. A more aggressive allocation might have produced higher returns, but only by accepting greater risk. Given the uncertainty experienced between February and June, we believe the Portfolio was appropriately positioned.

June 2026: Portfolio Positioning
In response to the continuing Middle East conflict between April and June, we broadened diversification by adding strategies alongside our existing high-yield fixed-income allocation. This has expanded the Portfolio’s sources of return and strengthened its ability to perform across different market conditions.
Following a positive start to the year, approximately 90% of available capital remained allocated at the end of June. Our risk team continues to monitor developments and will adjust exposure as market conditions and opportunities evolve.
The Portfolio currently comprises 16 distinct strategies across five asset classes, providing a balanced and adaptable investment structure.
Long-Term Performance
GDS Vs Indices
Since its inception on 1 January 2020, the GDS Portfolio has delivered strong absolute and relative performance. Over the same period, a hypothetical equal-weighted allocation across the four major indices would have returned approximately +65.53%. By comparison, the GDS Portfolio returned +86.45%, outperforming the hypothetical benchmark by approximately 20.92 percentage points, with lower volatility.
This record demonstrates the long-term value of combining diversification with disciplined risk management, particularly during periods of market stress.
June 2026 Contribution and Performance
We continue to evaluate high-quality strategies across additional sectors, seeking to improve diversification and enhance long-term return potential. Every prospective strategy must pass a rigorous assessment and satisfy our strict performance and risk criteria before being added.
As part of this ongoing review, we removed one strategy at the beginning of July and increased the allocation to an established, well-performing strategy. This change directs capital toward an approach offering a stronger combination of consistency, return potential, and controlled risk.

Outlook
We remain committed to our all-weather investment strategy and the pursuit of sustainable long-term capital growth. During the second half of the year, we will continue to seek attractive opportunities while remaining responsive to changing market conditions.
